How do I make my IVA payment?

To make your IVA payment, call NTF Financial Solutions on 01625 540 744, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, and we will tell you how to pay your monthly contribution.

Our online card payment page is moving to a new provider as part of this website's rebuild, so there is no payment form here for now. Until we tell you otherwise, keep paying in the way your arrangement sets out.

Please do not send card details by email.

For annual reviews, changes in your circumstances and other questions during an arrangement, see our help for people already in an IVA.

What details do I need?

To make an IVA payment you need your IVA reference number and the amount you are paying, plus your full name, postcode and contact details, so the money is put against the right arrangement straight away.

  • your IVA reference number
  • the amount you are paying
  • your first name and surname, as they appear on your IVA
  • your address and postcode
  • an email address and phone number

Paying for someone else, such as a relative? Give their name, reference number and address, not your own.

What if I cannot make a payment?

If you cannot make an IVA payment, tell your supervisor as soon as you can. Under the IVA Protocol 2025 standard terms (opens in a new tab), the supervisor can agree a payment holiday, or reduce your payment by up to 20%, without going back to your creditors.

Payment holidays can add up to the equivalent of 9 months (39 weeks) of payments over the whole arrangement, and the IVA may then be extended by up to 12 months. These limits apply to IVAs on the protocol terms; your own proposal sets out the terms of yours.

Missed payments that have not been agreed are different. Arrears of three or more months of payments are a breach, and if a breach is not put right within a month of a notice, the supervisor must end the IVA, after which your creditors can chase the debts again.

So call us before a payment is missed, on 01625 540 744. Our phone, email and office details are all on one page.
